Leadership Livingston Class of 2017 was announced in July. The annual Meet & Greet for the class was planned for August 15, 2016 and the opening retreat for the class was planned for the following weekend. On Tuesday, July 14, 2015, Denham Springs City Council Members voted on seeking a $100,000 in federal grants from the to go toward a nature park along the Amite River.
