Job Summary
Servpro of Livingston Parish is seeking a detailoriented
and experienced Restoration Estimator to
join our team. This role is responsible for
inspecting properties, preparing accurate
estimates, and working directly with customers
and insurance carriers to ensure a smooth
restoration process.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspect residential and commercial
properties for water, fire, mold, and storm
damage
• Prepare detailed estimates using
Xactimate (or similar estimating software)
• Communicate with customers, adjusters,
and project managers throughout the job
lifecycle
• Ensure estimates align with insurance
guidelines and company standards
• Upload documentation, photos, and
reports in a timely manner
• Assist in job file management and
maintain accurate records
• Support project managers to ensure jobs
stay on budget and schedule
Qualifications
• Previous experience in restoration
estimating or construction estimating
required
• Proficiency in Xactimate preferred
• Strong understanding of insurance claims
and restoration processes
• Excellent communication and customer
service skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational
skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving
record
Preferred Skills
• IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT) a
plus
• Experience with mitigation and
reconstruction projects
• Ability to read and interpret scopes of
work and construction plans
