In this divisive political time, there is one thing we can all agree on
We hate seeing litter on our roadsides
and in our communities!

- We complain about it often
- We don't get it - why people litter
- We know how bad it looks for those coming to our area either to visit, purchase a home or start a business.
- We all think someone should do something about it!
But who? Who should do something about it?
Since 2018, the Chamber has been engaged in a litter initiative in Livingston Parish with a purpose of learning more about current actions being taken and providing an opportunity for those frustrated with litter to be involved in actually doing something about it.
There is a process to creating a movement - Awareness, Understanding, Buy in - Action etc. We thought with all the outrage at litter, it would easy.
We will fill you in later on how easy it isn't later - all the action, private funds spent, volunteer hours, tie into drainage and clever marketing.
But what we really want to know is what you think.
Who do you think is responsible for litter clean up, enforcement and solutions now?
