Externship Host Days and Hours:
Experience Hours: 20
Available Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Overview of the Experience:
This externship offers students an inside look at how State Farm agents help families in managing their financial future and recover from the unexpected. Students will:

• Learn the fundamentals of insurance and business management
• Learn how State Farm agents build relationships with clients
• Understand the basics of team building and management
• Observe basic marketing, appointment setting, and sales techniques
• Learn some basic steps about owning your own business and being a leader in your community
