Leadership Livingston Class of 2026 Graduates
For Immediate Release
June 19, 2026
Livingston Parish, LA – June 19, 2026 –
Leadership Livingston proudly graduated its 14th cohort, the Class of 2026, on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. The program welcomed 23 new alumni into its growing list of dedicated community leaders.
By advancing current and future leaders and giving them an “inside view” of the parish, Leadership Livingston continues to make a lasting positive impact on Livingston Parish. The nine-month program equips participants with more insight and understanding than they could gain in decades of ordinary involvement—building informed, connected, and engaged leaders who are better prepared to strengthen their communities.
During the graduation ceremony, the organization recognized its class sponsors—organizations whose generous support demonstrates a strong commitment to leadership development and community progress in Livingston Parish.
The 2026 class sponsors include:
• North Oaks Health, a founding sponsor that has supported the program for all 14 years.
• First Guaranty Bank, a longtime partner sponsoring the program for 13 years.
• City of Walker, Louisiana, which has backed the program for more than eight years.
• Louisiana Blue Cross and Blue Shield, a new sponsor whose support marks the beginning of what Leadership Livingston hopes will be a long partnership.
Emily Glascock was selected by her classmates to serve as the class speaker and delivered remarks on behalf of the graduates. The Class of 2026 also presented the results of three impactful group projects developed throughout the year.
April Wehrs, Leadership Livingston Program Facilitator and Chamber President is a founder of the program and has led every class to date since the program’s inception in 2012.
Class of 2026 Project Impact
Collectively, the projects of the class have a $68,450 in project value with 450 volunteer hours to date. The projects will benefit countless residents across the parish for years to come.
Leadership Livingston congratulations to the Class of 2026 and offers gratitude to all sponsors, mentors, and supporters who continue to invest in the future of our parish.
