Livingston Parish Expo Returns with Over 100 vendors
 
For the first time since 2019, the Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce brought back the highly anticipated Livingston Parish Expo, welcoming businesses, organizations, public entities and community members from across the parish for a day focused on showcasing business, networking, and community engagement.
 
Held at the Suma Center, the event featured an impressive crowd, highlighting the continued interest and excitement surrounding the return of the Expo.
 
More than 100 booths participated in the event, including 62 small businesses along with larger companies, government agencies, and community organizations. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with local businesses, learn about services and resources available in Livingston Parish, and support the local business community.
 
Hiring Opportunities Highlight Workforce Needs
 
The Expo also featured a dedicated hiring component, with more than 30 businesses actively hiring during the event. Several companies participated specifically to recruit employees and connect directly with job seekers.
Throughout the day, attendees visited with employers to learn more about available positions and career opportunities across a variety of industries, making the hiring feature one of the event’s most active areas.
 
Restaurant Challenge Showcased Local Culinary Talent
 
The event also included a Restaurant Challenge, where local restaurants competed in both Judge’s Choice and People’s Choice categories. Winners from the competition can be viewed here: Restaurant Challenge Winners

The Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce has announced that the next Livingston Parish Expo is scheduled for May 11, 2027.
