2020 Small Business of the Year Award Winner- Bankston Law Firm, LLC

In January, Bankston Law Firm, Albany, was announced as the Livingston Parish Small Business of the Year, owned by Leslie Bankston.  

Small Businesses have challenges and opportunities that are unique to the independent business sector. Yet, they tackle the same areas of excellence as larger business. This holds true for Bankston Law Firm, LLC.  In just 6 short years, the firm has been successful and a bright spot in the town of Albany. In 2020, the firm experienced revenue growth in addition to adding services that offer more to their clients and community. 
Keeping the momentum on a growing business going, the firm upped their professional certifications when owner and attorney Leslie Bankston became a qualified mediator and attorney Casey Desselles completed her certification as a family law specialist.

In addition to her work with clients, Bankston founded the AllieJack foundation that helps community members struggling with addiction find placement in a faith-based recovery center.

A new office building is currently underway inside the town limits of Albany with goals of adding to the charm of the area along with providing additional office space and advancing business and economy for the area.
