Walk-On’s Founder to Speak at Livingston Parish Chamber’s Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting & Awards Banquet is Livingston Parish’s largest event celebrating business, held by the Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce. The festive annual event will feature a passing of the gavel to new leadership, recap of 2016 accomplishments, vision for the future, and special guests.

The Chamber is eager to announce Brandon Landry, Founder and CEO of Walk On’s Bistreaux and Bar, as the Annual Meeting’s guest speaker. Landry shares his story from the business conception of Walk On's, to securing the partnership of Saints Quarterback, Drew Brees, to being named the #1 Sports Bar in America. Although the Walk On's location in Livingston Parish flooded, it reopened for business within 19 days.

Mark Rosa, CEO of Jefferson Financial Federal Credit Union, will address as sponsor of the event. Jefferson Financial Federal Credit Union has two locations in Livingston Parish including the Range Ave. branch which flooded.  The second location is on Frost Road in Livingston.

The annual event will also feature a passing of the gavel to new leadership of 2017 chairman of the board, Chad Bacas, from outgoing chair Brian Abels. The 2017 Chamber Board of Directors will be sworn in.  Livingston Parish Businesses of the Year are announced at this event as well.

The event will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Forrest Grove Plantation with the program beginning at noon. With sold out attendance expected, the Chamber kindly asks for the courtesy of an RSVP. Fees are $25 for member ($200 reserved table) and $30 for future members.
