Welcome back!

Thank you for renewing your membership and keeping your name on the top business list in Livingston Parish.  We value your investment and never take it for granted.  While investing in your business through your members, you’ve also been a part of some impressive community projects that would not happen without you. 
As the parish’s business association, our role is to ensure local businesses are informed, connected, represented, and supported — both individually and collectively.


Below is a quick refresher on what your membership includes, along with what’s new and what to expect in the year ahead.

What’s New (or Expanded) for 2026

Each year, we look for ways to add value and respond to member feedback. Highlights for the coming year include:

• No charge to decorate a table at select Chamber events.  

• Professional headshots at member-only pricing ($35)

• Free entry to Live2Lead for Chamber members

• Expanded networking and engagement opportunities across programs

• Additional ways to gain visibility without additional cost

We’ll continue to share updates as the year unfolds.

What's Hot This Year

The coming year includes several important focus areas and milestones:

• Hot Elections - US Senate and Congressional seats, Judges, School Board, District Attorney, Mayor elections including Denham Springs & Albany, plus their councils and Albany's Police Chief 

• Awareness through Biz Briefings

• Signature events and programs, both new and returning

• 250th Anniversary - USA - Huge celebrations are expected nationwide 

• 60th Year Anniversary - Celebration of the Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce (Incorporated / founded in the 1920's) 

• 10 Year Anniversary - The Flood of 2016

Each of these efforts is designed to support a strong business environment and an informed membership.

Connect / Build Your Network

Last year, we held nearly 140 events and meetings or gatherings with around 4000 in attendance connecting you with business leaders, elected officials, other professionals and maybe even your next best friend. 
To clarify the types of events and what they are for, we’ve outlined them here.  Check in the online calendar for the latest updates, we do this constantly.  Also be on the lookout for the weekly email with reminders. 
Regularly scheduled meetings in a smaller setting that are less formal

• LP Biz Roundtables – held monthly.  Industry updates and learning opportunities.

• Biz Connections – Held quarterly - a speaker and business spotlight.  A little more formal than a roundtable format.  Around 30 - 50 attendees.  

• LP Biz Briefings – Topics specific to governmental relations and officials that impact our businesses and communities.

Plus – Larger, Signature Events like

• Annual Meeting & Awards Banquet – January 22, 2026

• GALA – A Red-Carpet Affair – Friday, March 13, 2026

• State of the Parish – August 2026

• GOLF – Over 30 years! – Friday, October 23, 2026

• Live 2 Lead – a half day John Maxwell

• Community Projects including the “Adopt a Senior” Program – founded at the Chamber and reaching over 400 seniors each year.  Plus each year, 3 Leadership Livingston Projects are approved enhancing our communities.

Last year, you were connected to over 1.8 million views through the online directory and social media reach.  In addition,  you can plan through your marketing team opportunities to gain additional exposure including:

• An Enhanced online listing and / or Banner Ads on the Chamber website where over 500,000 impressions happen. 

• Social Media shoutout / News Releases on our Site / Email shout out

• Decorate table with your branded items at an event with over 250 attendees in the room

• Be an industry expert at one of our roundtables / class sessions / or other opportunities. 

• Sponsorships & Expo Space that are exclusive to members.  Each larger event has its own target audience and

The Chamber’s work is guided by business leaders who volunteer their time and expertise.
This year’s leadership includes:
