Cherly Busby’s career began from a firsthand incident – she needed physical therapy care after recovering from two serious car accidents. Extensive physical therapy and the impact of exceptional care shaped her path forward, leading her to pursue a career dedicated to the field.
She studied and earned degrees at Texas Woman’s University and from the Netherlands. After returning to the United States, she spent 26 years working in outpatient physical therapy developing a reputation in the field that followed her.
On October 9, 2023, she opened Aim Physical Therapy – in a commercial strip in Springfield, Louisiana. Here’s where it gets good.
Within three months, the clinic grew from zero to nine patients per day. Before long, her patient load had tripled. In less than a year, the business expanded, doubling its square footage and assuming the adjacent space in August of 2024. Today, her staff has grown from two to eight, and the business has earned more than 70 five-star reviews.
Most business owners who excel in their field leading to an entrepreneurial opportunity, will tell you they love the work sometimes more than running the business side.
