The Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce announces the speaker line up for their third annual Women’s Leadership Event. The event will be held on Friday, September 20th beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Denham Springs. About the speakers: Wendy Rodrigue, award-winning public speaker, author, art historian and widow of artist George Rodrigue will be headlining the event. Chad Bacas from Forte & Tablada kicked off the meeting by demonstrating how advanced measurement technology can scan and create images of inaccessible areas like murky river waters. Using this kind of technology, the Forte & Tablada team helped authorities locate a car that had been submerged in the Amite River. “We were worried they would find bodies in it,” said Bacas, “but fortunately it was nothing like that.
