About Us
Behind the beautiful new building, 10 years in the making, which houses the Louisiana Association for Challenged Adults (LAC), lies an aging pavilion where these adults congregate, perform activities and learn valuable social skills. Team “Leadership Accepts the Challenge” is completely renovating the pavilion with fresh paint on both the structure and concrete, repairing the metal roof and wood that is in disrepair, and sealing roof leaks. The pavilion will be outfitted with LED lighting, (10) commercial grade fans, and landscaping to complete the vision of a pavilion fitting for such a worthwhile organized focused on giving purpose to challenged adults who may struggle with acceptance. The pavilion will also be used for event rentals to bring in much-needed funds for this century-old Livingston Parish non-profit.
