Leadership 2020 - French Settlement Playground

Leadership Livingston Team Projects
About Us
This group discussed several projects and wanted to make an impact somewhere no other class had before. Several team members are residents of French Settlement, so it seemed like a perfect place to start. They noticed one thing missing in the French Settlement area is a place for children to play. After several meetings with the past and present Mayors, the excitement for this project began to grow. Working with the Landscape Architecture department at Quality Engineering, a cost-effective design was developed to fit the vision of the group. A fundraiser was hosted at the Town Hall in March with overwhelming support and donations from the
community. Plans are on hold for now due to COVID-19, but soon the children of French Settlement and the surrounding areas will have a safe and beautiful playground.
