Featuring: Stephen Waguespack, President, Louisiana Association of Business & IndustryIn his annual address to Livingston Parish, Stephen Waguespack has presented the top issues facing business at the state level. He brings a fact filled presentation to our local businesses, through our local chamber, on what to watch when the state legislature convenes. Lawmakers at all levels of government cast votes that can have a good, bad or neutral impact on business and their ability to maintain, grow and support local economies. Business has a stake in government efficiencies and use of public funds. Streamlining tax collections and remittance and limits of overreach that cost business can be part of the conversation.
