This award is presented to five area young professionals ages 21-40 that are presently growing and excelling in their prospective field and plan to continue in advancing causes, community issues, governmental relationship and free enterprise in Livingston Parish into the future.
About the Speaker:
Jeremy Aydell is a Livingston Parish native, having grown up in the small community of French Settlement. He received a master’s degree in Accounting from LSU in 2004 and earned his CPA certification in 2005. Over the course of his professional accounting career, he has worked for Hannis T. Bourgeois as an auditor and Rubicon as an executive accountant.
Working with several different types of businesses throughout his career, Jeremy developed an interest in the franchising business model. After researching several different concepts, Jeremy decided to invest in Sport Clips Haircuts. His first location opened during the summer of 2010 in Denham Springs. Currently he owns and operates 14 Sport Clips locations in Louisiana and Mississippi.
Jeremy’s business was included as one of the LSU One Hundred Fastest Growing Tiger Businesses in 2016 and 2017. In 2016 he was named Team Leader of the Year by the Sport Clips Franchise. He was also honored as a member of the Business Report’s 2017 Forty Under 40 class. Jeremy has been married to his wife, Lori, for 9 years. They have two children, Taylor (5) and Carter (1).
Just confirmed!
Congressman Garret Graves has also confirmed his attendance at the meeting. He will be there to support the remarkable young professionals and give insight into his own journey from early career to being elected to Congress. He will also address the importance of utilizing the Chamber as a resource for young people to be engaged as community leaders.
