Ambassador of the Year 2020 Award Winner, Denisse Velazco

Every year, the Livingston Parish Chamber recognizes one Chamber Ambassador in appreciation for their contributions to the ambassador program.
Chamber Ambassadors, or as we call them, the A-Team, are tasked with representing the Chamber year-round at events such as luncheons and ribbon cuttings, recruiting and welcoming new members, and helping to get them engaged in Chamber activities.
 
We all know this year has been anything but normal, and at a time where most are encouraging people to stay away, this Ambassador was still offering her assistance. She was active in recruiting and engaging new members, she herself participated in the Golf Tournament, and supported new business members at various ribbon cuttings throughout the year. She also helped in recruiting businesses for the LP Eats Restaurant Guide initiative. She always strives to go above and beyond in everything she does.
