LYP | Livingston Young Professionals Member Meeting
What's the plan for this LYP Member Meeting?
We can't wait to get together with members of LYP at Duke's Seafood in Denham Springs. Members of LYP - this is for you! You joined LYP to connect with your peers, and this part of the program delivers.
The format includes topics that are of interest to everyone in the program no matter what your position at your business or organization. Some of the areas we plan to cover include:
- Justin Barksdale with Barksdale Safety Solutions will be doing a quick 5 minutes "Leadership and Safety Discussion."
- Alexis Ducorbier - State Farm Insurance will be our keynote speaker! She will give us marketing tips, and tell us her business story and how she got to where she is in such a competitive field.
- Learn about the upcoming plans and sign up to be a part of LYP committees.
- Gain an overall perspective of all the parts of Livingston Parish.
- Develop as a leader, if that's your goal, through interaction and engagement.
About LYP: 21 - 40's have an organization in Livingston Parish to call their own, Livingston Young Professionals. 80 plus members, and growing, offers a greater opportunity for this age group to form a network, have a voice and make a difference in your community. LYP Member Meetings, Professional Development, Community Service and Socials are some of the ways the program is delivered. The group is led by an advisory council of officers who work closely with the Chamber to achieve overall goals of making Livingston Parish Better.
