DESCRIPTION:LYP | Livingston Young Professionals Member Meeting\n\n\n\nWe can't wait to get together with members of LYP at this signature quarterly(ish) event.  Members of LYP - this is for you!  You joined LYP to connect with your peers\, and this part of the program delivers.  The format include topics that are interest to everyone in the program no matter what your position at your business or organization.  We'd love your feedback\, once you attend one of these\, on what you would like to see more of.  Some of the areas we plan to cover include:\n\n	Topics and speakers that matter to you with content that is fresh and impacts our parish in a positive way.\n	Learn about the upcoming plans and sign up to be a part of LYP committees.\n	Gain an overall perspective of all the parts of Livingston Parish.\n	Develop as a leader\, if that's your goal\, through interaction and engagement.  \n\nWhat's the plan for this LYP Quarterly Meeting? \n\nTBA but we are looking at bringing in a business who has been there and showcasing one of our Young Entrepreneurs.  So much to learn from each other! \n\nPlus: LYP Member Spotlight\n\n\n\nAbout LYP:  The LYP Program is for young professionals age 21 to 40\, to that\, the group determines what type of community service\, professional development\, speaker piece and of course\, the fun times on the schedule.  LYP also has a Facebook Page and Group for interaction outside of events and meetings.  In all areas\, the group is very welcoming of new participants and promises to make you feel a part of the program.  You can participate as your schedule allows.  To date the LYP's have met\, gathered\, held mixers and other participation with hundreds of young professionals in attendance.  The group also participates in the community initiatives\, leadership development\, governmental policy and other chamber sponsored events.
