SUMMARY:2017 - Connecting to Success! Business/ School Student Program
DESCRIPTION:The program will engage high school students with the experience\, look and feel of a professional business conference. Connecting to Success teaches students skills they will need to be better prepared to join the workforce after high school.\n\n\n\nThe Chamber launches this program and brings entrepreneurship programs to Livingston Parish. Connecting to Success approaches Ethics\, Work Life\, and Entrepreneurship.  Business Leaders meet with students during the Leadership Luncheon following a series of interactive sessions guiding students and inspiring them.  The program is held off site from schools.  \n\n\n\nConnecting to Success is a joint project of the Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce\, Junior Achievement and Sponsoring Business Partners. Sponsorship levels include:\n\n	Champion of Education  $5\,000\n	Advocate of Education    $2\,500\n	Partner of Education       $1\,000\n	Promoter of Education      $500\n	Supporter of Education     $250\n	Booster of Education          $100\n	Friend of Education             $50\n\n The Chamber's education funds are dedicated to an education / business partnerships fund which the chamber administrates.  Sponsors can request allocation of funds to either Scholarship only\, Junior Achievement Partnership only OR chose to allow the funds to be used as needed for meaningful programs.
